Why it takes so long
Most clothes are made, then sold. Ours are sold, then made.
Nothing in this collection sits on a shelf. When you order, the cloth is cut to your measurements, the panels are joined by hand, and the sitaara and zardozi work goes on last. Three to six weeks later, depending on the set, it leaves the workshop, and there is exactly one of it.
One house, two crafts
Everything in these photographs is ours.
The ghararas are cut in our workshop. So is the jewellery worn with them. Nothing was borrowed for these shoots, so every piece on the model is a piece you can wear.
How made-to-order works
From order to doorstep.
Nothing here is pre-made, so the timeline is real. This is what happens after you order, and how long each part takes.
Choose your set
Pick a gharara and tell us if you would like the colours changed. There is no charge for that, and nothing is cut until you confirm.
Send your measurements
We ask the moment you add a set to the cart, then read them back to you before anything is cut.
We cut and stitch
Cut to your measurements, joined by hand, with the sitaara and zardozi work going on last.

Before you order
The things people ask us
Buying something stitched to your own measurements, online, takes a bit of trust. Here's what most people want to know first.
What exactly comes in a set?
Three pieces: the gharara, the kameez and the dupatta. All three are stitched to your measurements, and the price you see is for the complete set, with nothing further to add.
How do I know it will fit?
Every gharara is stitched to the measurements you give us, not to a size chart. We ask for them the moment you add a set to the cart, and we read them back to you before anything is cut. If you're not sure how to measure yourself, send us your height and the size you usually wear and we'll walk you through it.
Can I change the colour?
Yes. Tell us what you'd like on the product page or over WhatsApp before we cut, and we'll work to it. Colour changes don't cost extra.
How long does it take?
Three to four weeks for most sets. Khwaab and Satrangi take four to six. They are built from tukdis, small panels cut and joined one at a time, which is the slowest work we do. The exact time is listed on each set's own page.
Nothing is stitched in advance, so the clock genuinely starts when you order. If you're working to a wedding date, tell us and we'll be honest about whether we can make it.
Why do the prices vary so much?
Almost entirely because of hand-time. A set finished with beadwork or mirror work takes a fraction of the hours that Khwaab does, where the gharara is built from individually cut tukdis before any sitaara or zardozi work begins. You are paying for weeks of someone's hands, not for a label.
What if something is wrong when it arrives?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery. If it arrives damaged, defective, or with a manufacturing fault, we'll replace or exchange it.
Because each piece is cut for one person, we can't take change-of-mind returns, which is exactly why we'd rather spend the time on your measurements before we start.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing. Shipping is free anywhere in India.
